Engagement Photos!

So being a photographer myself, I really had a "vision" of what I wanted these photos to be. I wanted to be in the middle of No where. So off we went an hour east of 29 palms to really, the middle of no where... I think they were very successful and I actually love them!!!

Valentines Day Weekend

Hey everybody!

Well we ended up going camping up in Lone Pine over the VDay weekend. We had a very nice time even though the temps dipped as low as 20 degrees! On sunday the wind picked up and made it very difficult to go fishing so to keep us busy we to Mammoth. That was an amazing trip and i'm very glad we went. Here are some pictures of our trip!

IT"S OFFICAL!!!!!!!!

We have booked the date at LongShadow Ranch for September 26th, 2009. We will be sending out save the date cards as soon as we get our engagement photos taken in March. Then when it gets even closer we will be sending out the invites.

225 Days to go!

As for this weekend, Russell and I are going to have a very romantic Valentines day camping in the freezing cold up in Lone Pine. I'm actually very excited about this and think it will be a relaxing adventure :) Pictures will be up next week!

New Stuff

So we have had many updates since I have written last, I have not had time to get on here and write it all down!

UPDATE:
We have found a venue in Temecula! Yah, this has been one of the most difficult parts about wedding planning! It looks like we are going to be having it at Longshadow Ranch Winery, we just have to have the final seal of approval from Russell and we will be putting down a deposit. The place is very beautiful and yet very causal. The theme of our wedding is going to be elegant westernish with boot center pieces, cowboy boots and hats, Country music and soooo much more! The venue looks like a real ranch and has horses, big ol' barrels and grape vines for a spectacular view. We are also pretty darn sure that the date is set for September 26th, 2009, so save that date! We will be sending out formal save the date cards and invitations on a later date. A couple of weekends ago my mom and I went to the Bridal Bazarr in downtown San Diego. We had an awesome time watching the wedding dress fashion show, interviewing DJs and tasting countless cake samples. I even won a contest and got a free gift basket full of honeymoon travel supplies, including some great travel books :)
